I've been teaching guitar professionally for almost 40 years and have taught well over 20,000 lessons (wow!) plus I have dozens of references I can provide upon request.
I also have toured both in the states and internationally as a professional guitarist. Currently one of the artists I perform with is Eddy Raven (he had eight #1 hits) and we regularly perform on The Grand Ole Opry plus tour on the weekends.
My specialty is Rock guitar for beginners to advanced players. Most of my students are on electric guitar but I also teach acoustic guitar as well as electric bass.
My most requested genre of study is "classic rock", however I enjoy much variety and I also teach Country, Blues, Bluegrass, Folk, Pop, Jazz, Hard & Soft rock, Metal and more. I am a very patient teacher, and I can either select the studies or guide the student with their specific requests. Theory, ear training, chords, scales, the "Nashville Number System", songs, soloing concepts, finger picking, flat picking, song writing concepts, slap bass, solo and song transcriptions off your CD and/or IPOD.
